Pat Crowe was visiting Exmouth recently after having moved from here to Nelson Bay in NSW. He was fishing with local resident Shane Littlefair and before the trip had some shirts made up especially for the two mates. The one for Shane had ‘Budda 2 –aka The Sharkman’ written on it, while Pat’s had ‘Budda 1 – aka Red Man Crowe’ on it.
For the first three days Shane couldn’t land anything but sharks and was having a hard time trying to catch a decent fish, while pat was have a hard time trying to stop himself from laughing! However, tides change and to Shane’s delight he caught the ripper red pictured this week. I’m sure the smile is still on Shane’s face now and I reckon there will be some new shirts made up for next years’ challenge.
